What this is
Field surveys by the Locust Warning Organisation, published through the FAO Locust Hub, and its fortnightly bulletins; plus rain and soil moisture from weather models, read against the thresholds locusts need to breed.
What it is not
Not an official LWO or FAO forecast. A district with no reports may simply not have been surveyed, so “no locusts” is only ever as good as the last survey.
